Here’s the thing, if you’re reading this then the chances that this isn’t our first blog post/newsletter you’ve read are pretty high.
So today we’ll get right down to it and give you updates from the ecosystem, the general sentiment around CT and some major alpha as well as stats from our own SolCypher Ecosystem. Hopefully, this helps you position yourself and reinforce your own research as well as bullish/bearish sentiments across the board. So without further ado, let’s do just that;
ZEC and the Privacy Movement:
Do you know who the CypherPunks were? And what the movement is all about? Well, I found out a few weeks ago but the following thread from Hitesh on X directly explains, defines and imparts the essence of the cypherpunks and why it’s powering the Zcash resurgence and rise:
For those who don’t want to get the thread then come back, this is the Cypherpunk Manifesto:
A Cypherpunk’s Manifesto by Eric Hughes
Privacy is necessary for an open society in the electronic age. Privacy is not secrecy. A private matter is something one doesn’t want the whole world to know, but a secret matter is something one doesn’t want anybody to know. Privacy is the power to selectively reveal oneself to the world.
If two parties have some sort of dealings, then each has a memory of their interaction. Each party can speak about their own memory of this; how could anyone prevent it? One could pass laws against it, but the freedom of speech, even more than privacy, is fundamental to an open society; we seek not to restrict any speech at all. If many parties speak together in the same forum, each can speak to all the others and aggregate together knowledge about individuals and other parties. The power of electronic communications has enabled such group speech, and it will not go away merely because we might want it to.
Since we desire privacy, we must ensure that each party to a transaction have knowledge only of that which is directly necessary for that transaction. Since any information can be spoken of, we must ensure that we reveal as little as possible. In most cases personal identity is not salient. When I purchase a magazine at a store and hand cash to the clerk, there is no need to know who I am. When I ask my electronic mail provider to send and receive messages, my provider need not know to whom I am speaking or what I am saying or what others are saying to me; my provider only needs to know how to get the message there and how much I owe them in fees.
And so you see a silent return to the principles that propelled bitcoin and crypto itself forward. The need for private money.
This knowledge might be seen out of pocket for SolCypher, but it is vital to know the origins of some core crypto concepts and movements. If this information strikes some chords, then you should rethink not having some ZEC.
SolCypher update on the markets
Yesterday, across launchpads tracked by our trading terminal and bot, a few insights could be gleaned about the overall situation of the market.
Pumpfun seized and maintained dominance of launchpad market value by a healthy 86.5% totaling up to $103 million in trading volume! Compared to the other 13% left for the other pads in the space, that’s neat.
We also saw 102 token graduations yesterday, with pump.fun launches being 98 of them, followed by 3 from Launchlab and 1 from Letsbonk.fun.
New Features
Our web trading terminal (command center) now has a smart money inflow tracker that helps see which tokens have cash being deployed into. More experienced traders might want to take advantage of this one.
Finally, the best part.
KOL League Season
At the end of the month, winners of our KOL league are awarded over $1000 in prizes.
This month, this remains constant. We can now officially look forward to and participate in a new season of calls and trading alpha with each other in our various groups.
From one Cypher to another, let’s make the best out of the new month.
