Things just got kicking again. Polymarket smashed a $2B weekly volume milestone this October -first time ever- while sparking whispers of a $15B valuation round. Kalshi’s not sleeping: annualized volumes clock at $50B, with $10B+ in investor drool for institutional DeFi plays. 

When it comes to market share? Polymarket edges at 52% (690M weekly), while Kalshi’s nipping at 46%. Both are tokenizing bets and micro-staking on crypto swings, but Solana seems to be their secret sauce with faster and cheaper txns than legacy chains.
